Who this is for

  • Jaw tightness, clenching, or grinding, especially with stress
  • Neck and shoulder tension that builds through the day
  • Tension that creeps up into your head by the afternoon
  • Desk workers and parents who carry stress in their neck and jaw
  • People who want a gentle, calming approach rather than deep pressure

Why the jaw, neck, and nervous system go together

Your jaw, neck, and upper back are closely connected, and stress tends to show up in all three. So I look at your posture, breathing, and how your head and neck move, not just the jaw itself.

Sessions are gentle. They can include craniosacral work, soft-tissue work, neck and upper-back stretching, and breathing that helps your nervous system calm down, plus a few simple habits to try between visits.

What a session looks like

  1. We talk. Where you feel it, when it started, what makes it better or worse, and what you've already tried.
  2. I look at how you move. Simple movements show me where you're stiff, where you're compensating, and what needs more support.
  3. Hands-on work. Assisted stretching, mobility, soft-tissue, and stability work chosen for you, with your comfort guiding the pressure and pace.
  4. A plan for between visits. A few simple things you'll actually do at home.

When to see a doctor first

I provide wellness and movement services, not dental, medical, or physical therapy care, and I don't diagnose TMJ disorders. If you have jaw locking, severe or worsening pain, a recent injury, or headaches that are new or severe, please see your dentist or a medical provider first. I'm happy to work alongside them.
